Anthony Joshua is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight round match which will be broadcast live on Netflix.
British boxer Joshua stated he will "stamp all over" the American and "break" the American as the combatants confronted each other to publicize next month's heavyweight fight.
Ex two-time world boxing king Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami arena on 19 December.
Fighter's Attitude
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I'm here to prove I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, said.
"I'll stamp all over him. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
In spite of these statements, a composed Joshua and social media star Jake Paul - usually recognized for his dramatics - shared friendly words and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua rival the Cameroonian fighter and described him as "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted UK rival Tyson Fury - and rejected a large bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua commented.
"I give him credit for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite stating he plans to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua refused to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he said.
Jake Paul's Background
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mainly fought mixed martial artists or declining opponents since turning professional.
He lost to Briton Fury in last year.
Commercial Success
Still, the inexperienced fighter remains one of the sport's largest commercial attractions, consistently making massive paydays.
Prediction and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a KO victory in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would derail the highly-expected Joshua–Fury fight, which is allegedly under discussion for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury next year," Jake Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the customary confrontation, with their physical disparity clearly visible, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually proceeding.
